The highly awaited Super Bowl XLV is about to happen in less than one week. The Pittsburgh Steelers and the Green Bay Packers are now preparing for their final matchup. Both teams are ready to fight for the famous Vince Lombardi trophy.
The game, to be played on February 6, 2011, will pit the champions of the AFC and the NFC and will be held at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas. This will be the first time that the Super Bowl will be held in the Dallas–Fort Worth area; the third time it will be held in Texas (Houston was the host city to Super Bowls VIII and XXXVIII); and, the fifth time the same city hosting the Super Bowl also hosted a World Series game the preceding autumn. Kickoff time is approximately 6:25pm EST.
The Packers represent the NFC while the Steelers is on the AFC’s side. Packers defeated the Chicago Bears with score of 21-14 in the NFC Championship game last weekend. On the other hand the Pittsburgh Steelers won against its rival the New York Jets in the AFC Championship game.
The Super Bowl 2011 live stream online will be available for free on the said date and kick off time. Fox Sports is scheduled to televise the game in the United States.
